Our group is affiliated with the Department of Cell Biology, Faculty of Science, Charles University and based at the BIOCEV campus in Vestec.

Our main interest is early protein evolution on Earth reaching to the prebiotic era. We are also interested in the protein sequence space and in what lies beyond the boundaries of natural protein world on our planet and potentially elsewhere in the Universe.
